Half Empty or Half Full?
In reading Joe Biden's book, Promise me, Dad. I started thinking about purpose and passion. We get hung up on our limitations and our fears and we become paralyzed. In this book, Joe's son, Beau can be characterized as a warrior because he didn't allow his terminal illness deter him from living. He continued to remain optimistic even though he was aware that he was dying. He motivated those around him to continue to fulfill their dreams, and not stop living because he was ill. He especially meant this for his father, who he encouraged to run for president because who better than him to lead the free world. Beau did not hide behind his illness and he did not make excuses when it became difficult for him to walk or talk. In reading this book it had me thinking is the glass half full or half empty?
Until next time...
